Squirrels, Oh My!!!

There is one thing that I am grateful for when it comes to leaving NC. We are lucky?? to have quite a bit of nature in our own yard. Sometimes the acts of nature come with questions that are difficult to answer,"yes,the squirrels are wrestling". I found Sarah and Clay in the front yard having a "nut hunt".

Easter

We spent Easter at the Lersch's with Ma, Pa and Bachie. The kids were on candy overload from their Easter baskets and egg hunt. We remembered the true meaning of Easter in the midst of all the commercialism of the holiday. Our Lord, Jesus Christ rose again on this day. We have reflected on the blessings he has bestowed upon us and are in awe of his love and presence in our lives. LIFE IS GOOD, LIFE IS GOD!!!

Winter Wonderland

The snow welcomed us to Toledo! We have enjoyed it, but are VERY anxious for Spring and the wonderful things that go along with it. The kids have had a blast.

Family Makes a Home

The weekend after we moved in, we had Matt, Ali and the kids over for the weekend. It is so nice to have them nearby once again. Although it isn't a blok away like in Mooresville, it makes the transition so much easier. We are so grateful to be close to family!
